These are various forms of FTL drives for the Silhouette Vehicle Construction System presented in the Jovian Chronicles Companion. A short theoretical basis for each drive is presented, as well as the rules for each drive. Unless otherwise stated, all FTL drives are considered AUX systems.

The following are very loose notes for converting Mekton Zeta designs to SilCore. Because of the flexibility of both design systems, some amount of judgment has to be used to insure the design keeps in the spirit of the original.

Cost: 2 each
Confers a one-shot Haywire Resistance perk for each Sponge bought. Typically described as some form of capacitor or similar energy absorber (see CyberPunk 2020, etc), primarily used on small, vulnerable battlefield units such as Exo-Suits, ACPA, and the occasional full-conversion borg which are exceptionally susceptible to EMP and haywire effects (in game effects, ACPA/Suits usually have low armors ~6-10 compared to fairly high DMs for haywire weapons (usually x8+ for a LPA equivalent). This Perk was originally posted by Pierre Bourque on the Jovian Chronicles mailing list.

These are guidelines I have used in a modified form in both Cyberpunk 2020 and Mekton II games. I cribbed them from Chaosium's BRP - the intent is for experience gained to be applied directly to skills. A little more record keeping is involved.

The following Psionics rules were first posted to the Jovian
Chronicles Mailing List by John Prins. To my knowledge they have not been
playtested, but they look really nice. They have been modified to take
advantage of the new Silhouette Core rules.
