Jovian Chronicles is a science fiction roleplaying game from Dream Pod 9 which was originally published as a licensed setting for R. Talsorian Games Mekton II, but has since been updated and released as it's own game using the Silhouette system (also used in Heavy Gear and Tribe 8).

Inspired by Japanese animation such as Gundam, Jovian Chronicles is much more than a giant robot game. It is a game of adventure and exploration that captures the enthusiasm and discovery of our own modern explorations into space and the universe, where the players step beyond the confines of Earth and out into the stars. It is also a science fiction game which tries to integrate realistic science into the dramatic backdrop of the story - without interfering with game play by introducing cumbersome mechanics. It is, in short, my favorite science-fiction game since Traveller.
